Bushwalking is fun provided you take some simple precautions to ensure your safetyHiking and Camping in our Rainforests
Our World Heritage-listed tropical rainforests are a holiday must-see. Over 900,000 hectares are a living museum where primitive plants have remained undisturbed for millions of years. Brightly coloured berries and fungi can be very attractive to children. If you don’t know what a plant is, don’t eat it! Some plants have thorns or spikes, so walk only on well-trodden tracks.
